at the number of people falsely claiming membership.
It enhances
a candidate's image to be a member of respected Professional
Associations, hence the high degree of Creativity on many
resumes and applications.
It costs
very little to verify these associations, and provides reassurance
of credibility.
Criminal
Records
There
are many roles involving key factors such as handling cash
or dealing directly with the public when it is highly advantageous
to be made aware of a potential employee's Criminal History.
We do
not live in a litigious society such as the US, where claims
for "Negligent Hiring" are commonplace for employers who have
not checked for any criminal history which was subsequently
redemonstrated after the candidate was hired, although we
are beginning to see the first instances.
This does
not remove our obligation to ensure the safety and security
of our employees and clients is protected.
Reference
Check can access Australian Federal Police databases and /or
privately operated databases to ascertain any Criminal convictions
from the previous ten years.
The private
databases contain a large number of records of criminals convicted
by Australian courts and a smaller number of records from
other courts around the world.
We stress
that we do not claim the databases to be 100% complete. However,
they are updated on a daily basis.

Interviews
Reference

This can
prove to be an extremely cost-effective method of obtaining
